Course Overview

The Fellowship Programme in Optometry Subspecialities is a comprehensive clinical training program designed for graduates in optometry who aim to enhance their patient care management skills. The fellowship focuses on intensive hands-on training under the guidance of experienced consultant optometrists, ensuring a strong balance between theoretical knowledge and clinical exposure.

Eligibility Criteria

Required Qualifications:

Candidates must hold a Degree in Optometry.

Purpose:

This ensures that applicants have a solid academic foundation, enabling them to effectively benefit from advanced clinical training and subspecialty exposure.

Number of Positions Available

Seats: 2 seats are available per course. This limited intake ensures personalized attention, focused mentorship, and extensive hands-on clinical experience for each fellow.

Duration

Length of the Program: 1 Year [54 hours per week]

Structure: The fellowship is conducted as a full-time clinical program with continuous exposure to various subspecialties in optometry.

Program Schedule

Frequency: Twice a year (March & September).
