Giridhar Eye Institute is pleased to share the successful conclusion of “Beyond the Leak – Redefining CSCR in 2026,” a focused Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme dedicated to advancing the understanding and contemporary management of Central Serous Chorioretinopathy (CSCR).

Held on 13 September 2026 at Radisson Blu, Kochi, the programme brought together 50+ delegates and an accomplished panel of national and international faculty for a day of scientific learning, meaningful discussion, and academic exchange. The CME was conducted under the aegis of KSOS & COC and accredited for 2.5 CME credit hours by KSMC.

Moving beyond the conventional focus on the angiographic leak, the programme explored the evolving landscape of CSCR through discussions on choroidal mechanisms, vortex veins, systemic risk factors, multimodal imaging, OCT and OCTA biomarkers, disease phenotypes, complex clinical presentations, and evidence-based treatment strategies.

The scientific programme featured four sessions and 19 expert talks, with distinguished retina specialists sharing contemporary evidence, clinical perspectives, and practical approaches to challenging cases. The participation of internationally renowned faculty further enriched the academic experience and encouraged meaningful exchange of ideas.
